I forgot the voice commands. How can I get a list of these commands?
The list
of phone commands is availble in our Online Tutorial. To hear the list of
available commands, after you've logged in to BIRDTALK™ via a phone, say
"Help" after any prompt or press the * key at any time.
How do I communicate with BIRDTALK™?
You can communicate with BIRDTALK™ after it has finished speaking, and
played a prompt. A prompt is a tone BIRDTALK™ plays to let you know it
is finished speaking. If you speak a voice command while BIRDTALK™ is
speaking, it will not recognize your request.
How do I call someone from my speed dial folder?
Simply say "Place Call" and BIRDTALK™ will ask "Call whom?"
Then say your speed dial contact’s name "Joe Homebuyer" You
will have the option of calling your contact at Home, Office, or Mobile, if
you have entered those numbers in your speed dial folder.
How can I hang up on a call without hanging up on BIRDTALK™?
While in a session, you can hang up a call and return to BIRDTALK™ by
pressing *#.
How do I fast forward through a long message?
You can fast forward 5 seconds by pressing 9 during the message.
Are there any limits on how big or how many emails I can receive?
Your incoming and outgoing email messages are limited to 5MB each. Your inbox
is limited to 10MB. Additionally, you may only have 500 email messages in your
inbox at a time.
Are there any numbers BIRDTALK™ will NOT dial for me?
BIRDTALK™ will not dial the information number 411 (four one one), but
it WILL dial the emergency number 911 (nine one one).
